Questions& answers.

Everything brands, agencies and streamers ask in meetings, in one place.

Brands

For brands & agencies.

What is APIQ?

APIQ lets brands run ads inside live streams on Twitch, YouTube Live, TikTok Live and Kick at one CPV rate (cost per view) with a guaranteed number of views.

We standardize advertising with streamers. Instead of negotiating with each creator and buying integrations at different prices with no guaranteed result, you get a single media channel: guaranteed view volume, centralized management and unified reporting. You run one campaign, and APIQ handles all the work with streamers.

How are you different from regular integrations with streamers?

With manual integrations, each streamer sets their own price, and nobody guarantees how many views the advertiser will get.

We sell guaranteed view volume at one CPV rate, not individual integrations. We take the view delivery risk and run the campaign until the KPI is met.

How are you different from the platforms' own ads?

Platform ads appear over the stream or in an ad break and interrupt viewing, so they are often skipped. APIQ places the ad inside the content itself: it becomes part of the broadcast the viewer chose, and ad blockers do not remove it.

In addition, the campaign runs on several platforms at once from a single window, and viewers get extra points of interaction: a QR code, a chat link, an overlay click. We are not a replacement for platform ads; the two are often used together.

How does the ad technically get into the stream?

The streamer adds the APIQ ad layer once in their broadcasting software, for example OBS. Our platform controls that layer: it shows the right creative at the right time and with the right frequency.

The ad becomes part of the video stream: every viewer sees it on any platform and device, ad blockers do not remove it, and it stays in the recording of the broadcast. The streamer cannot change the creative; if they turn the layer off, the system sees it immediately, and those displays are not counted.

So the streamer will be advertising our brand?

No. The ad runs inside the broadcast, but it is your creative, not the streamer talking about your brand. The streamer may briefly introduce the ad before it runs, if they wish. Such lead-ins noticeably lift the CTR of the clickable elements.

How fast can a campaign launch?

The media plan arrives within 24 hours of the brief. Launch takes 1–2 days after you approve the streamer list and send the creatives. Working with streamers by hand, this takes weeks.

Can we approve the streamers ourselves?

Yes. Before launch you get a list of recommended streamers and can remove any of them. The campaign runs only on the pool you approve, and you can remove a streamer after launch, too.

Can we work with a fixed list of streamers?

With a view guarantee, no: the guarantee relies on us adding new streamers from the longlist you approved until the KPI is met.

Without a guarantee, yes. There is a closed-circle mode: for example, only your own streamers, or your own CPV rate for each. In that case, the advertiser is responsible for view delivery.

How do you guarantee views?

We sell view volume, not streamers. We analyze channels daily and know each streamer's capacity. Views are spread evenly across the campaign days, and if delivery falls behind, we bring in streamers from the approved longlist until the KPI is fully met.

What is a verified view?

It is a view that passed every check: the creative was displayed correctly, was fully visible to the viewer and met the campaign requirements. Only such views count toward delivery and the invoice. You pay only for views where the creative was shown in full, which is why we work on CPV rather than CPM.

How does placement verification work?

During the campaign, the system automatically takes screenshots of the stream and analyzes the placement, including with computer vision: whether the creative is present, its position, whether the clickable elements work. The audience size is recorded at the moment of display. On Twitch and Kick, the system also checks whether the chat link is posted and pinned.

How does anti-fraud work?

We check audience quality across 15 parameters: chat activity, audience dynamics and stability, sudden viewer spikes, user behavior, clicks and conversions. Suspicious traffic is excluded from reporting and the invoice, and a streamer with bots is removed from the platform. The full list of parameters is available on request.

How do you ensure brand safety?

Every streamer signs a contract that prohibits advertising next to politics, violence, sex, drugs and other toxic content. Channels are checked automatically: gambling and betting are excluded, and age restrictions, country and language are verified.

You approve the channel list before launch, set up allowlists and blocklists of categories, and can remove a streamer during the campaign. If a streamer gets caught in a scandal, they are switched off immediately.

What is in the report?

Verified views, CTR, QR code scans, chat link clicks, results per creative, analytics per streamer, poll answers and a screenshot for every view. The data is visible live, so you can change the plan during the campaign.

Which attribution systems do you support?

AppsFlyer and Adjust, other attribution systems, tracking links, UTM tags and pixels. By default, each channel gets its own link, so each streamer's performance is visible on its own. On Twitch we accept view pixels: conversions are counted both after a view and after a click.

Where do the clicks come from?

On average, about 80% of clicks come from the chat link, about 10% from the QR code and about 10% from clicks on the screen. CTR across all clickable elements is tracked live; if a streamer's CTR drops below the agreed threshold, that streamer is switched off automatically.

Do we need to embed a QR code in the creative?

No. QR codes are generated and added automatically. They matter for people watching on a Smart TV, too: you cannot click there, but you can scan the code with a phone.

Can we use our TV spot?

Yes. The full-screen format accepts ready TV and online spots up to 30 seconds with no rework. If you have no ready materials, we can help develop creatives.

What happens to the ad in a recording of the broadcast?

Creatives are built into the content and stay in the recording. You get those views for free, but to be honest, recordings add only a few percent to the campaign volume.

What does the CPV rate depend on?

On the format: a banner costs less than full-screen video. Within one format, the rate is the same for every streamer in the campaign. We will show the exact rate in the media plan for your brief.

Can we start with a pilot?

Yes. Many clients start with a test campaign to get their own numbers for the channel.

Can we run a campaign in several countries?

Yes: a campaign can run in several countries and on all four platforms at once. Right now that means Spain, Turkey, Germany, the UK and the US.

Can we get category exclusivity?

Yes, for a set period you can block competitors' ads on the streamers in your campaign.
